April 20, 2000 Finally, I got back to this thing. Well, a lot has gone on since I went to the Kid Rock concert. The concert rocked. Bolt Upright was okay, but Kid Rock & Powerman 5000 tore the stage up. Joe-C wasn't there with Rock, but he was there in spirit. I've also since then turned 21. I know, whopdie freekin do, right? Well, not if you come from New Orleans. It's not just a birthday, it's an initiation. If you read this, are male, and from the New Orleans area...Follow the Plan. 1. Go to Big Daddy's, you are waisting your time & cash if you go anywhere else. 2. Drink Tequila Sunrises 3. If Roxie is there, and you wanna splurge for a lap dance...dammit do it, man! 4. After all is said & done, don't go to some corner store & go eat dinner. Just go sleep. I'm no longer in Louisiana any more. I live in Western Colorado, in a cozy little town called Montrose. It's near that "legendary" South Park. Most people here like the cartoon, but the ones who don't, that's there opinion. This week was my first full week on the job at Russell Stover Candies Yes, that same company that probably has saved you guys' ass many of times on Valentine's Day, is now my current employer. It's a hard working job, but I need the cash and I need to get working so I can pay off my Ford Explorer. Being that the Explorer is only a rear wheel drive doesn't work too hot on the snowy & icy roads of Montrose, Colorado. Here's a pic of me, w/ a real ugly mustache, and a friend from Louisiana who is still near & dear to my heart, Abby. This was our first "DATE". We went to Mississippi to see the Korn/Rob Zombie Concert. It is still one of the top concerts that I have ever gone to, and she made it even better...though a couple times I got so into the music, I almost smacked her...sorry babe. | |||||||||||||||||||
